When I opened up my Minecraft for the first time today, it loaded up and sent me back to the login screen, I selected my username and clicked "Play" to skin authentication and get to playing but then it led me to the "InvalidCredentialsException" error and now, no matter how many times I retry, it still gives me the error. I even attempted to log in with the exact same credentials at minecraft.net and it logged in successfully. What is going on here?
P.S I even tried logging in at mojang.com with the exact same credentials and it logged in successfully...
I am still having this same problem, With 2 different accounts. One I just made last night and one thats been around for years and used all the time. Tried with both emails and usernames. Can log into minecraft.net and mojang.com, But not the clients.

Both the vanilla launcher and FTB are showing the same thing.
Same issue. I haven't had much time for Minecraft in the last couple months but was using my account fine all summer (even wrote some mods in Forge) and now I can't log in in FTB or Vanilla. I reset both to the default state to remove any sort of configuration bugs and also tried deleting everything and re-downloading the client. I can log into the Minecraft site, Mojang Site, and even Scrolls just fine. Seems like it's a server side issue for whatever authentication server gets polled for the Minecraft credentials since it may be different from the one used for the sites and Scrolls.
Edit: I've even tried under different versions of Java in Mac, Ubuntu, and Windows.

2) All this means is your credentials are wrong. Make sure caps are off and that such.
