Just built my first PC - at my brothers recommendation I got a solid state hard drive for my OS and I want to run everything else off the slave drive. How the heck to I get minecraft to install on the slave drive? It seems to automatically go for appdata roaming, and I'm not entirely sure how to get it to work from the other hard drive. Is there a way to do that? Also, would it work to just run a bukkit server on my slave drive and let that soak up all the data storage while I just run the client on on my SSHD?
I'm not entirely sure where to put this issue, but this seems like an appropriate spot. I finally got the $ for a PC (after 6 years) and finally get to play minecraft without issue - please help me keep it that way.

You can click Edit Profile or New Profile in the launcher and set the game directory into the directory of your choice. This would dump all your saves into the slave drive. It would also work to run a Bukkit server on your slave drive, as the world is stored there.
