Hello, I had a java binary error when i loaded minecraft earlier and having heard that there was a newer java out I uninstalled my java but when I went to install new java it can't display webpage... I have done all troubleshooting such as firewall, clear history, no add ons, etc. I have since restored my pc to before I deleted original and now when I click run on minecraft exe. nothing happens. I've deleted and re installed minecraft as well. As it stands now I have Java 7 update 25, I can't even conirm that because windows closes the tab and can't display. I'm pretty irritated at this point and my internet is working fine for everything else, but if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Thanks and sorry, although I've been playing minecraft for long time, I am new to the forums. I will post in new topic from now on. It is java 7 update 25, and I think the newer one is java 7 update 40 I believe but when I click on it... it can't display the webpage. I should note I played Minecraft fine this morning which had this java. Like i said though after restoring to basically this mornings pc I hit run on minecraft and get nothing. thx

I go to Java.com and hit download, then it says "agree to terms and install", when i hit that button it goes straight to "cannot display webpage". I uninstalled Java first earlier but had the same results. I'm also using IE if thats relevant. I tried using Firefox earlier but that browser always redirects me to random websites and I havn't cleaned it up yet so...

When I typed java version in command box... I just assumed I did something wrong and didn't sweat it because I was confident on what version I had. But after more research and a second look it was actually telling me my java was corrupted, it said "error while initializing" or something like that. ( I feel dumb). I uninstalled everything Java with JavaRa, then reinstalled Java Runtime Environment 1.6... and now everything is fine. Sigh xD. But thanks guys I appreciate the help and something tells me we'll meet again. Thanks again

Curse PremiumTry downloading the JRE from here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.html
You might have better luck downloading it manually. Be sure that you download the correct version for your OS.
