So......I have been playing Minecraft since the very early alpha versions and I have never experienced something like this before!

Never heard of the error here. Truncated class... hmm. could you provide your dxdiag log? for a quick fix, try backing up your saves folder and delete .minecraft. Other than that... can't help.

Okay, all seems normal from what i can see. now, make sure you try all of these:
-Uninstall and reinstall java
-reinstall/download minecraft
-run a virus scan
-provide the crash log found in the crash logs folder in .minecraft
-update your video drivers
-update windows

Other than that, i'm at the end of my rope. perhaps cestislife or Extreme_heat can help.
