So I downloaded minecraft 1.6.4 last week and it runs okay, it'll glitch when I run anything heavy in the background, but that's to be expected. That on it's own is not the problem. The problem is that I can't connect to any servers and minecraft won't read any of the resource packs that I add to it. It might be just that my computer is six years old or it could be anything. Any advice you have would be helpful.
