I'm getting around 18-24 fps when I usually get around 2-300 fps.
Running an alienware m14x with an i7-2620QM, a Geforce GT 555M and 4 GB of ram. It came with 8 gb, but one of the slots on the ram module burned out in February, so I had to remove it. I've since gotten the motherboard replaced altogether, but I've yet to replace the ram that I took out since there is a 90 day warrenty on the repair and I'm not supposed to open it up until after it expires.
Lowering settings has no effect, I've tried all the tricks: prioritizing java, making sure it's not running off of integrated graphics, raised the allotted ram, etc. Lag is pretty persistent regardless of what I do. Anyone else have a similar issue or have heard of this?
I wasn't able to play minecraft for quite a while and I finally get my PC operating again and it'll play pretty much anything, but minecraft. Pretty lame.
