Apparently the title says it all but
I found out why I didnt have sound ..... the resources folder is missing
cant find it anywhere even if the "See Hidden Folders" is on
so can anybody make a link for resources folder for 1.6.4??
and also where do i put it

Hi,
For one, sounds are no longer stored in the 'resources' folder.
Please do the following;
To make sure the launcher stays open: click Edit Profile, then check Launcher Visibility, select Keep Launcher Open and finally hit Save Profile.
Next play the game, and wait until you get the 'sound' issue.
When that happens go to the minecraft launcher, switch to the "Development Console" tab, and copy all the text with Control + A then Control + C.
Then paste the text into a spoiler here.
