Ever since 1.6.4 my fps has been bouncing up and down a lot. With 1.6.2 and older versions of minecraft i would consistently get 300-400 fps, and i could run shaders at 100-200 fps. Now with 1.6.4 my computer only runs at 100-200 fps and with shaders it only gets about 30-60 fps. This isnt a huge problem because i can still play minecraft without shaders fine but now i sometimes get lag with shaders which is annoying. I also have a Nvidia graphics card if that matters.
Does anyone now why this is happening or have any possible fixes?
CPU: Intel i5 3570k
GPU: Nvidia gtx 660
Ram: 8 gb corsair vengeance 3 gb is allocated to minecraft
all my settings are default except Performance is max fps and obviously vsync is off
messing with any of the other settings does not really effect my fps at all

FPS can change over updates, and depending on what you are doing. Loading chunks will bring it down. And render distance and such. You have nothing to worry about.
