So I'm trying to play Minecraft on my shiny new SSD. Downloaded the launcher 1.2.5, ran it, logged in, and hit play. Nothing. The launcher window closes, and the javaw.exe processes are running, but no Minecraft. Tried it a few different times, a few different ways (also tried to get the snapshots). No dice. Disable avast! and try? Won't work. Rebooting my computer doesn't work. Downloading a fresh .exe doesn't work.
I looked at my /.minecraft folder,and it looks like the launcher isn't downloading the game. All I see are "/assets" "/libraries" "/versions" "launcher.jar" "launcher.pack.lzma" "launcher_profiles.json" and "output-client.log"(which contains no useful information).
Does anybody have any idea what could be the problem?
