I have two user accounts in windows 7.
lets call them "A" and "B"
"A" has my minecraft installed at %appdata% with all its saves and whatnot.
I want to be able to access those saves and mods directly from "B"
basically run minecraft normally as it would if I was logged into "A" but i'm logged into "B"
EDIT: Yes I know I can do it the dirty way by just copying the whole .minecraft folder over and just copying it back when I make any changes, but I'd rather have just one location to maintain and not worry about it since both UA's are using the same target file/folder
Follow the 'Change the work directory' instructions at this page: http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/special-characters/
The whole page is not relevant to your issue, but that section contains the instructions for changing the directory. You can either copy the .minecraft directory from user A to the new one created once you've run the launcher, or set the work directory to C:\Users\<USER A USERNAME HERE>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft, though I don't know how Windows will react to that on a permissions level.
