I keep getting this error(the topic title) everytime I attempt to connect to a server. Ive tried different servers and dont know what else to do. I have a macbook, HELP!

You may have a problem with your hosts file, which overrides DNS queries. Please follow the following directions:

From the finder toolbar, search for the following item: "/private/etc/hosts". Open that file in the text editor, and copy the contents here.
