Minecraft won't start because I need Java.

It redirects me to the Java website and gives me an error in completely says :

Window's Installer

This installation package could not be opened.

Verify that hte package exists and that you

can access it or contact the application

vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows

Installer package

Then it is because of an error with your computer itself. I would suggest taking it to a technician to have a look.
