When I use my desktop PC, with Windows 7 and half the specs, it gets 100+ FPS with same settings in-game.
In-Game Video Settings:
Render Distance: Normal
Smooth Lighting: Off
Advanced OpenGL: On
Clouds: On
Particles: Decreased
Graphics Mode: Fancy
So yeah, kind of a problem. Just wondering what I can do to fix it. I've tried Optifine, doesn't matter.
Also, it does this for both unmodded and modded clients.
Eons ago, there was only void. Then came the big bang. Voxels colliding with voxels, cubes with cubes. Blocks were forming, each texture unique from the rest. That was when our universe was born.
You need to likely set Javaw.exe to a High Performance profile in Nvidia Control Panel.
Ideally, Minecraft is being ran on the much slower than 650GTm GPU Intel HD4000 graphics.
If you need info how to do this, just mention it.
I've already tried that. I've also set the global settings to high performance, not quality, to no avail.
EDIT: I have also done that to the other PC, as a test. Made no difference. Still tons of FPS in comparison, while having half the hardware
FINAL EDIT: Looks like I got it working. Running best settings with 70+ FPS. All I had to do was add JAVA, not Minecraft.exe. Duh! Thanks for your help.
