I deleted my .minecraft folder for the 1.6.4 launcher and cleared the recycle bin because I couldn't login to minecraft, and I thought re-downloading a fresh .minecraft would help but I can't find one. So I thought I'd download a new launcher and it would have a .minecraft but it doesn't. I tried downloading the 1.5.2 launcher and then force updating but it won't even initialize. Please help me!Oh, and this comes up:

Please fix the error and restart.

I'll try it out. It only does this with Minecraft. I looked at mojang help to see if servers were down, and they supposedly are.

It didn't work. I just tried it and the same error comes up.

something sort of like this happened to me. my saves folder is missing . I was wondering if anyone knows how to get it back

You should probably remove the launcher too and redownload it, if you haven't done that.
