Please help! My minecraft wont update to 1.6.4. I clicked on the link to update it and it loaded. I then dragged it to the applications folder and then a loading bar popped up and it loaded then it said it was done but i still have 1.6.2!!!!!!!!
You don't download the update by clicking the download for the Server jar, you get it in the Launcher.
Go in the Launcher, and click Edit Profile, and click the Versions dropdown and select 1.6.4.

I tried that and it only said i had 1.6.2 available.
