Dear Minecraft Community
I need some assistance with a technical minecraft issue. You see I have a very old world. As in 1.2 old. The 1.2 when beds were invented! So many of the chunks are old. I have had issues that I could deal with like I found a Stronghold before the end was invented, ergo no end portals, or I found a village, before villagers were invented. I dealt with these in various ways but it mostly lead to the finding of new chunks. This has led to my world being big, Very big. I really like this world and want to keep it, but I can only do that if I get rid of some of these unused chunks (chunks where I do not have any builds I care about in). So I ask is there a way or a program that can somehow show me and map my whole world, and allow me to prune some chucks and get rid of most of what I do not care for.
This is mostly so I can find all the biomes when the new texture pack comes out.
P.S I have been experiencing a glitch where some of my oldest chunks are getting deleted and replaced with new ones. How I can fix this?
