Hello, my one and only problem I have been having is that whenever I join a server of any version I get the error message:
internal exception: javanet.socketexception: software cause connection abort: recv failed
I have no Idea what it means or what to do. Every other post about this error has gotten me nowhere.

Nothing! the next thing I might try is reinstalling java. I will update if that works. But for now it is an extremely annoying problem that I would like to fix as quickly as possible. Thank You.
The error is most commonly caused by a certain software filtering the connection. What antivirus software do you have installed exactly?
I would also like to ask if you have any program along the lines of "Relevant Knowledge" installed, as that may cause the problem as well.
