This is getting on my nerves. This has been going on for two days. I play on DesiredCraft server and every server suffers. It's fine for a few minutes and then suddenly it just starts lagging so badly. I can move and the game still 'works' but frame rate and controls are cut about four fifths of the way down. Absolutely ridiculous.

I thought at first it was just the server but single player does it too!

I have no idea what's wrong.
No mods at all
I tried re-installing the player.
I try relogging when the lagspikes happen.

Nothing is working and it's making playing very tedious. Not to mention I've been playing skyblock the majority of the time and That is Dangerous, my friends. Lag and Skyblock do Not mix...

I guess it's Probably pretty worthless posting this but Maybe someone can have a magic fix for this. Don't leave me Minecraft D: I loves you!

Open the launcher, click on "edit profile", check "executable" and make sure the path is set to

C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe

Attempt to run the game. Does it still stutter?

Now it won't run at all. Before it was a similar location with (x86) in the name.... I think I just screwed it up even more. *shot*

Edit: I put the original back. I doubt it's gunna help in this case but.. .giving it a shot.

Yep... There is that stutter. About fifteen minutes into the game.I don't have 64-bit computer though. Only the... 32? 38? Something like that.

If you have that (x86) in your path name, that would mean you have a separate Programs Files directory for 32-bit applications. I am quite confident that you have a 64-bit system, as only on those would you have C:\Program Files (x86)

Same here, but it started lagging when i put 3 mods in, i don't know which one .
