I was wondering if gameservers.com is a credible hosting site? Also, if you rent a server, and it's a vanilla survival server, can you change the game mode temporarily to create a spawn area?

I don't know about server hosting companies, but if you rent a server, make sure you are opped, then you can go into creative mode.
