SO I just bought minecraft a few days ago and used it on my laptop with had absolutely no problem running it, skins worked,resource packs worked fine. It was just too laggy for me so I moved it to my gaming desktop but since then i've had more problems than i want to deal with
1-when im in dungeons theres visible light coming through the cracks in every block so it's literally lit-up without torches. I hate it.
2-Most things from 20 blocks away have a purple tint to them and look horrendous
3- skins just wont work, and when i have a skin turned on in my profile all it does in game is put large light spots around my already normal skin in the shape of blocks.
I haven't got the slightest clue why it's not working i've put alot of money into this desktop it runs games like LoL,D3,Path of exile max with 120+ frames. And my 60$ laptop from a yardsale runs minecraft better. I've deleted and re downloaded and used mcpatcher a million times. is there somewhere i can go to wipe it completely off my system if I haven't already? Oh also when I ran the game on the demo page it didn't have problem #1 or #2
the thing i would do with my limited knowledge is simply either updating java, re installing it, or just deleting your .minecraft folder (type %appdata% in run). make sure you save your worlds (in save files.) if none of these work then idk....
