Anyone else having this issue? I tried submitting it to the bug tracker but I don't understand how the website works, impossible to navigate.

So I tried naming a pig that had a saddle on it, and I wasn't able to because all it does it makes me mount the pig. And you can't remove saddles from pigs (for now) so it's not possible in anyway to name the pig.

Anyone else run into this?

You have to name the nametag with an anvil, then right click it on the pig. Through my testing, eventhough you are mounting the pig, the name tag applies.

Well I know how to use a nametag, I'm not an idiot lol. The nametag appears to apply to it, but sign out and back in and you'll see that it doesn't work.

Because I feel like you may be making the same mistake as me, because if I held shift and named him it would show up, but if I sign out of minecraft entirely and launched the game again;when I get back ingame it's name isn't applied anymore

If I knew how to work the bug tracker I would report it but I looked all over that site and I don't understand it
