So as some may know, there have been some structure bugs with the new snapshots where updating to 13w37b or above would delete structure data(Structures like witch huts, fortresses, villages, etc.) I understand that this doesn't impact villages too much, but I am worried about my Let's Play world. Being the careless fool I am, I forgot to create a backup before updating to the snapshots and did not even bother reading the bug reports and shenanigans like that. Now, I have quickly returned to 1.6.3 after playing in 13w37b for a bit and loaded a thousand blocks or so away from my portal in the nether(I'm worried about the fortresses). Is there any easy way to test if any structure problems are occurring in my world? Also, could someone explain to me in detail what would happen to unloaded structures if one were to stay in 1.6 during the whole snapshots ordeal and only updated to 1.7 when it came out as an official release? Thanks
I have gone back to 13w37b(after creating a backup) and still am unsure if there are any problems.
