I emptied my .minecraft folder so I could get a fresh .jar, and now when I try to use the launcher it asks me to log in before I do anything and when I do the little loading bar thingy below just keeps "loading"
What do I do to get my game running again??

Hi,
If you deleted the entire folder then you should expect that behaviour.
It can take a couple of minutes, just wait.
