I've been having issues, being new to PC Minecraft (long time 360 player), setting up my (temporary till I make my own unique) skin via the launcher was as easy as can be, setting up my skin for offline play, is much tougher.
I know the latest version of Minecraft changed a lot of the rules on how things work related to textures, so can someone either explain in detail or link to a step by step instructions on how to set up my skin for offline play?
And please don't write "don't play offline its boring" or "go online, offline sucks" as neither such comment helps, and I'm well aware of the limitations of offline play, lets just say I have "privilege issues" related to the internet at all times where I live and leave it at that (I'm also 25 IRL not 12, salt in the wounds as it where...).
Where did the bin folder go?
Since the update, the folder structure for Minecraft have changed drastically. As the launcher is capable of handling multiple versions, all the "minecraft.jar" files are now named according to their game versions and are located under the "versions" folder. There is no longer a "bin" folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
