I recently moved and my desktop and desk wouldn't fit next to where I had to connect it to the internet. I've been playing offline but one day I logged out of my account and now when I try to log in offline it says this,"Sorry,but we couldn't connect to our servers.Please make sure that you are online and that Minecraft is not blocked." By the way this is for version 1.6.2. Is there any way I could sign in offline and play? If not I guess I could get a laptop and play online there. The new launcher absolute requires login at least once in order to play offline from there on.
Edit: Even the batch file that can be used for directly launching a version for testing/developing, still requires login at least once to create the libs folder needed.
So in end, if you can login at least once, you can play offline from there on.
