Hey all, I'm having a bit of a recurring issue with Minecraft whenever I'm at school. This problem never occurs while I'm at home, or using any other wireless internet service.
Whenever I join a server, I'll just fall through the floor, or sometimes completely out of the world. When I do on the rare occasion spawn properly, I'll be unable to enter specific games in hubs. For example, whenever I click a sign to join a game, nothing happens.
Any ideas? My school uses wired internet primarily, and other people seem to be able to use the network and play on servers with no issues at all.
It may be helpful to isolate whether this is a problem with your user account, or with your system as a whole.
Please create a new user profile (a computer user, not a new Minecraft account), log in as that user, and try Minecraft from there. If it works, there's something on your profile that's breaking Java or Minecraft. If not, there's something amiss with your system as a whole.

Hi,
That does seem to be a bad connection in general.
