I've been playing minecraft for a few years now (back when it was 5 bucks) and I've recently picked it back up but I have been dealing with some frame stuttering when I try to run it on my new computer. I've attempted doing the batch trick with expanding the memory limitations and I'm still concerned on whether to go to the next step and look into mods to possibly help deal with this. I can easily run it on bare minimum of short distance, fast graphics and no smoothing and max fps but any step up, even switching to normal view distance, I run into issues where it will skip frames and have moments where it will stutter.
