What anti-virus are you using? You might need to whitelist minecraft as a safe application.

I'm not sure. Try re-downloading minecraft and tell me what happens. But I'm not sure about how to fix it.

You could try changing your anti-virus to something different, anti-virus really shouldn't detect minecraft as a virus, because it's not, lol.

The easiest solution would be to uninstall windows defender and then install minecraft.
(Don't forget to install a new anti-virus though)

You're probably using Trend Micro, if you are, update your virus definitions, if that doesn't work, disable it.

Disable rather than install, I meant.
