Okay, so I've searched this and searched this and searched this. I've seen many different places where someone had a similar problem. ON Minecraft, when I'm running 1.6.2, every time I hold down a key on my keyboard it freezes after like a second or two until I let go. The responses to all of them were "Update your lwjgl" in one form of another. Unfortunately, Minecraft 1.6 changed somewhere with something and that doesn't appear to be a solution here.
A little bit of information: I have had quite a few computers over the past few years that I have been playing Minecraft. This problem did not come up before. Another thing, Minecraft 1.6 came out somewhat recently, but it happened around the same point that I switched graphics cards on my computer. I don't know if you can tell by my specs, but I originally had an Intel card. I switched for a TON of various reasons, but I hadn't tried to update and play Minecraft yet. I don't know if that is important or not, sorry, I just never switched graphics cards before so I don't know much about it.
What in my opinion is the thing that makes the most sense out of this is that when I use the OLD LAUNCHER and play 1.5, everything works FANTASTIC. Like, super well. High FPS and everything. It has ever since I got this new computer like a year ago.

Okay so a very strange thing happened... I uninstalled Minecraft and deleted my .minecraft folder. Then when I reinstalled, it still had the same problem. So, I just figured I would play on 1.5, so I redownloaded the OLD launcher, and 1.5 was still running perfectly. Just one last try, I ran 1.6.2 with the newer launcher, and everything is working great! No more freezing. It's the strangest thing I swear... so does anyone have any explanations?

Thanks for reading! Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
That indeed would seem to be an issue with LWJGL, but the new launcher should fix that.
But yes, it would be a good idea to reset Minecraft's files, wouldn't be surprising if a reinstall fixed it.
