I have downloaded the compatible Java software on my MAC, and I do not have a firewall up or antivirus software running. When I try to load the demo, a message asks, "Do you want to run net.minecraft.launcher?" I accept the terms and click run, and can then see an image of the game that says "Updating Minecraft, done loading." BUT then another security warning appears and asks me the same thing. This time, when I accept the terms and click Run, the message and the image of the game both disappear and I am left with a blank black screen where the demo should appear.
Please help, as I would be interested in buying the full version of the game for my computer, but will not do so until I am sure I can run even the demo on it.
