Hello, my name is Danny and I want to ask a question about "Speculations in laptops to make games faster", or at least Minecraft. I've tried using "Optifine U B4". It made a minor change, so I kept using it. Then when it came to modding with forge, there was a spectacular change! From 14 fps, I went to 26 fps! But then when I heard that normally minecraft is supposed to be 60 fps, I saddened.
So I need help from somebody to tell me what speculations for a laptop I need to get at least 60 fps or more.
Here are the speculations for my laptop (I want to use HP laptops):
As you can see, I even lowered the looks to "Let windows choose for best performace". I kept 3 stuff to make windows a bit faster, but no change at all.
Here are my graphic's information:
So can somebody please tell me what speculations I need to run at least 60 fps!
(I couldnt fit anymore words on the last post.
So can somebody tell me what specs i need to run at least 60 fps?
Thanks, but that's not what I asked though. I'm asking for a complete list of specifications for minecraft to run at 60fps+. I'm buying a new laptop next year so I need to know which specifications I'll need.

You don't need specs. You dont even need a new PC. Do all of the things in that link, and you'll be running and 100fps in no time.
well it's really hard to tell how to get exactly 60 fps but is extremely easy to say how to get more than that. It all depends on your price range with my built in graphics chip not my high performance card i get around 60 fps on normal render and fancy+smooth lighting. But my laptop costed $1,300 so I don't know you limits. With my high performance card i assume i get about 200+ fps on normal fancy+smooth lighting.

(Start menu, right click computer, click properties.)
(start menu, type Resolution, click Adjust screen resolution, click advanced settings, should be under the tab "Adapter")
If you're looking for a new laptop, I'd recommend posting it in the Hardware Discussion and Support subforum. We help people find new computers all the time, provided you give some basic information.
If you're just looking for the specs, I can give you a few guidelines on them, but they're essentially useless since it would be tough finding a laptop with those exact specs.
Here are my specs if you want to know them, but they are WAY overkill and it's a custom-built desktop rather than a laptop.
Intel Core i5-4670K OC'd to 4.2GHz
Asrock Z87 Extreme4
8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Asus GeForce GTX 670 4GB
120GB Samsung 840 series SSD boot drive
2TB WD Green data drive
Corsair CX750
Zalman Z11 case
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
I get anywhere from 200-500fps. You don't need something this powerful or this expensive for just Minecraft.

I will say it is cheaper to build a desktop and they perform better than laptops in most cases but if you'd like a laptop I'd say these specs are nice. They run Deadspace 3 on ultra settings (just a benchmark to give you an idea on what it can do)

That's way overkill. The Lenovo Z585 is half the price and can still max Minecraft at 60fps.
i didn't just get it for minecraft though lol but anyways I would say that this laptop is a bit overkill for just minecraft. I would be looking at laptops anywhere in the $700-$800 range maybe even less.

For just Minecraft, I'd be looking in the $400-500 range. There are many APU laptops that are that cheap and are quite good for Minecraft.

Thanks, but that's not what I asked though. I'm asking for a complete list of specifications for minecraft to run at 60fps+. I'm buying a new laptop next year so I need to know which specifications I'll need.

I put them in both
"What are the specifications of a laptop is good enough to run at 60 frames per second or more?"
Thanks! Can you tell me your specs for you graphics card and computer?
