Bad FPS on iMac

I have been experiencing lots of lag on my mac, any help?
My specs are
Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
I have tried allocating more memory but it didn't help.

I didnt find anything to boost fps, any other suggestions?
