Ever since Minecraft version 1.6 (full-release) came out, I have not gotten the launcher to launch Minecraft. First I was getting a "Java SE Binary" stopped working, so I updated Java, and then that error stopped. But now I get this error:

I try re-running it, ad it just keeps doing that over and over. I'm running it on a Windows 7 Laptop, Java version 7, update 25. I can't get the DxDiag to work at all.
And I have tried the fallowing, to no avail:
Using a new .minecraft
Re-downloading the launcher
and doing "Force Update"
Also I run minecraft through a .bat so I can save it to a different location (to make file searching easier). I am stuck, and don't know what to do. Please help.
there is no "force update" with the new launcher, that's old news.
have you tried changing the file location with the launcher? I can explain how if needed
I have Launcher version 1.2.1, I see the force update is gone now, but the error persists. I got that error log from launcher 1.2.1, and my .bat was working perfectly. I don't know why it is all of a sudden. If that is the problem. So... sure.
ok, on the new launcher, click "edit profile" (to the left of the play button) under the name of theprofile should be a "directory" checkbox (or something similar) check it and enter the directory you used before, or a new one. whatever floats your boat.
if th problem still persists with the same error, then idk what's wrong.

Okay, I re-entered my correct directory, but it completely ignored it, and saved to the Roaming AppData, and I still got the error
the box needs to stay checked. if that's done, check the directory textbox completely,as there might be something hidden. and make sure to save the profile afterwards

It was checked. The directory was 100% right. I crtl+c - crtl+v'd it into the dicrectory from my save through my .bat and I did save it.
Still error.
well, I have no idea what to to now. I am not experienced in enough to help you any more. hopefully someone who does will reply. see if you can find anyone who looks smart enough to help you, and pm them your dilemma. one is bound to help.
I'm sorry I am unable to help you anymore, and I hope your problem gets solved.
No, that didn't help. I followed the instructions, but the program they wanted me to uninstall, isn't installed at all.
Then where are you launching the game from?
You may need to re-install the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place.
To do so, press your Windows+R keys, type in %AppData% at the dialog, and press Enter. In the window that appears, open the .minecraft directory, and delete everything except for the saves directory that you see therein.
Then get a clean copy of the launcher, do not open it with a batch script, or change the work directory, and provide a copy of your full Development Console.

I was launching it from a folder that I could easily move to a storage device whenever I get a new computer (which could be years from now).
I'm posting my dev console in a separate reply (I got a "post_too_long" error)

Hi,
There is no documented error code with "-1073741811".
However, I feel confident that the issue you are having may be caused by edit code "-1073740777"; so see this, it may apply to you.

Hi,
Next time, use spoilers.
Please download and run this program.
Once you have opened it, from the menu select "Do a scan and save to a log file".
After a little while it will open a text file, copy all the text and paste them here in a spoiler as so:
