I get these random lines in some objects when I am holding them. I have a resource pack installed but I have the same problem when using default textures. I have set Anisotropic filtering and Antialiasing Mode to Application controlled for javaw.exe. I am using the latest Java version and graphics drivers.
I've noticed it mostly when holding the sword and other tools. I can also see blueish lines around my player when opening inventory and wearing diamond armor.
I hope you dont except to much, but that is normal minecraft it useing 16 x 16 resolution for all items when you install resource packs they offten use 16 x 16 thats why you see those blue lines its the pixels. To get rid of them use 64 x 64 texture pack or higher. ( note 64 x 64 recource packs will lag your game if your systyem specs are not the greatest . You will also need optifine or somesort of HD patch for the pack to work)
No I'm not talking about that. If you look closely at the sword you can see tiny blue dots in it.
I circled what I'm talking about in this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/9mfa09f.png It's a lot more noticable when playing.
I have had this exact problem too, many times. In my case, it was almost always caused by turning on multicore rendering in optifine. I'm pretty sure I saw a forum thread about something like this too, and I'm searching for it right now.
Could i please get more information about your system please? In order of importance
-Minecraft video settings(screenshot is the easiest way to get them)
-Resource Pack name and resolution
-Graphics card model
-CPU name
Edit: I'm getting this on my computer now too, without any mods or texture packs installed. Video settings don't appear to matter. I guess I never really noticed it before.
Edit: I'm now clueless too. Forcing antialiasing on in my graphics driver settings appears to help though. Please provide the information i asked for anyways though, there's still a chance it might help.
Really those tiny little lines ??? If you notice those i think the problem is you not minecraft. Those are graphical errors most likely caused by the sword and the backround, There most likely there for everyone. Dont sweat it its not your fault.
Edit: in the second sentence i meant you pay a little to close attention to detail. I never noticed them before and are regular.
A temporary fix for these lines would be to install a resource pack. That appears to fix the problem for me.
Edit: This problem likely exists with all minecraft clients. For example if you look closely in this video you can see it. I don't believe there is a fix other than installing a resource pack as I said above.

Any help is appreciated.
