I tried opening my launcher and all i get is Bootstrap (v5) i tried reinstalling java and the launcher turning off my firewall and deleting the .minecraft folder can somone please help me

Hi,

Assuming the launcher doesn't open and gets stuck at the "bootstrap" screen;

Please provide a console log of the errors you are receiving.

So you're saying that all the log consists of is "Bootstrap (v5)", or is there other output?

no thats it just boostrap (v5)

Hey there i went to get onto minecraft today and i got the launcher up and all it says is Bootstrap (v5) and it isnt doing anything. What should i do?

I've just tried logging on today after doing a system restore. After clicking on my mincraft launcher, all that the screen reads is "bootstrap (v5)". There is no other text and the launcher screen is just white. I left it sitting for longer than an hour and there was no change and no error message has loaded. I cannot find any information on the internet as a fix to this and tried reinstalling both Java and minecraft.

Same thing happened after I did a system restore.

updating java seems to fix this issue, a system restore can roll back your java install several versions depending on how far you go back and how recent the update is.

I'm having the exact same problem ;-; Except I have mods
