So when i open my minecraft game it logs in and everything and lets me play normally. When im done with the game and i attempt to quit the game and close it off the starting launcher stays open and will not let me restart my computer. Im trying to play this on an imac and its only started doing this a couple days ago. The software i have is snow leopard 10.6.8 if that helps.
