Can't find my Minecraft folder

I'm trying to install texture packs and get screenshots but I can't find my minecraft folder when I do /Library/Application Support/minecraft/. I am using Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4 (I think I'm Mountain Lion xD)

To get at Minecraft's locally stored files on a Mac, in the Finder, from the Go menu, select 'Go to Folder', and type in:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
and click Go.

The system Library, /Library, and your user library, ~/Library are different places. You would want to search in your user library.

If your Library folder in your home directory is hidden, run the following command in Terminal to reveal it:
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
