Hey everyone, recently I've started playing Minecraft, and I must say I love it. I do have one problem with shadows though, sometimes they seem like they are pitch black, and they get "fixed" only when I go into the area and/or break a block there. Here are some screenshots to show you what I mean:
Is the problem on my computer or something? I'm playing in Single Player, so I'm pretty sure that's no server mod or something. It's not a big deal really but it takes out some "immersion", so to speak.
Firstly good job on getting Minecraft and emersing yourself in the community :D. But to answer your question Im pretty sure this happens to everyone and is a glitch in the lighting mechanics. Don't worry its nothing wrong. Though Mojang should probably fix it. Oh and this doesn't really matter but you only have to click a block (not break it) to get rid of it.
