I am having a very frustrating issue with Minecraft and I don't know how to fix it. I just got it today and so I'm relatively new to the desktop version. I downloaded it and it opens just fine, but after clicking "single player" it brings me to the dirt background screen and I cannot click anything there. I cannot create a new world or even cancel to get back to the main menu. I've tried deleting the downloaded .exe file, re-installing Java and updating it, and I really don't know what else there could be.
Please help!!
