I have a mineraft account but i dont have the game, I havnt bought it yet but i will in a couple of weeks. So i downloaded mineshafter cause my friend said i can play minecraft on there for free. i just need a minecraft account. I downloaded it and have been playing alot. The only problem is whenever i open up my .minecraft its missing almost half the folders that should be there. I dont have them all memorized but the most important one thats missing is my bin. So i cant open my minecraft jar file. This is really annoying me cause i cant install any mods or anything. If anyone knows why most of the folders including the bin is gone please help me.
Don't know why, but delete the .minecraft folder, make sure you back up your worlds, and run the game again. It should create the files. If not, then reply back to me.
I deleted my .minecraft then opened up the game closed the game and checker my .minecraft folder and it is exactly the same. Most of the folders are still missing.
