I usually get about 10-20 fps in Minecraft on Normal render distance (not going to go any lower) and fast graphics. I have searched thoroughly over the internet for several days but nothing did the trick (Optifine gives me a bit of a boost, but what I'm playing with isn't compatible with Optifine and it doesn't make THAT much of a difference; I also tried game boosters, allocating more memory, etc., but nothing). Is there absolutely ANY other solution that would help boost my FPS in Minecraft (probably not mentioned often), besides game boosters, memory allocation, turbo boost, etc.? I really want to play with a decent FPS but just can't find any solution that works well.
EDIT: I know that Intel isn't optimal for gaming but it should be able to reach FPS levels higher than that. -------------------------- Specs:
Manufacturer LENOVO System type: Windows 8 x64-bit operating system Processor Intel® Core™ i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB Graphics Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Primary monitor resolution 1600x900 DirectX version DirectX 11 or better
A little thing to be aware of is that more ram does not equal to better performance. Minecraft runs fine even if only 256m is allocated. What you get is likely what the computer is capable of really, we're just telling you as it is.
