Hey everyone, I don't know if this is where I should be asking this question, and if not, I can delete it and move it.
I recently started getting into streaming Minecraft, and I have a really nice Cyber Power PC. I get around 60 FPS when streaming, and sometimes more, but I'm getting 3+ second block lag. When I look around it is perfectly smooth, and there isn't any other lag, but when I break a block or shear a sheep it takes 3 or more seconds for it to break. Is there any way I can fix this?

No, I haven't; its not the frame rate that is the trouble. Gameplay is really smooth with little to no lag, but whenever I break a block it re-appears and doesn't break until 3 seconds after I had originally broken it. I'll install it and see if it works, but I don't know if it will fix the block lag.
Block lag can happen if you are on a server that your connection isn't great to. I believe streaming also uses up a good chunk of your internet. Is it only when you are streaming?
It may also be a side effect of the server's anti-cheat settings. Sometimes they can cause block break/update lag, particularly if not configured and tuned well.
Minecraft (as of release 1.3) uses an internal server. The reason you're getting lag (but only when streaming) is likely that whatever streaming software you're using is only single-threaded and it's trying to use the same core as the internal server.
I'm using OBS to stream on twitch. Is there any way I can fix this?
Sorry. Went past me.
Open Minecraft, then go into Task Manager (right-click on the taskbar), go into processes and right-click on java (or javaw).exe.
Click on Set Affinity.
Check 3 cores. Do the same for whatever streaming software you're using, but give it the 3 cores you HAVEN'T given Minecraft.
It's fine!
I went to do that, and I clicked Set Affinity and a window popped up saying "Operation could not be completed, access is denied."

How would I go about doing that though?
