So this is not the first time this has happened. It happened on a private world and now on my server. I did have a random blue screen yesterday and that is when I noticed this current issue. My questions are as follows: can I fix this? And how can I prevent this in the future? What ways are you guys using to back up your worlds?
Thanks for the reply, I should have mentioned that I tried f3 + A and it did not solve the issue either time this happened. Ho w can I go about "reloading the world" as you say?
This world is affected currently. The other world, my single player save, had this happen and I just deleted it. I have not had it happen on any other saves, but then these two are the only ones I really mess around in. In the launcher there is a line that says something to the effect of cannot delete a certain file.... This happens when I quit a game. If you need to know specifics on what it says I can find out for you.
I did try doing a fresh install of Minecraft where I deleted the .Minecraft folder except for the saves and redownloaded the game. The problem persists.
From the pictures you provided, the issue seems to be nothing more than a chunk error.
Reloading the world should solve the issue, or you can use F3+A to reload the chunks near you.
By reloading, I meant simply exiting the world and opening it again.
But from the looks of it, you may have a problem with your saves, does the issue apply to all your worlds or one in specific?
You'll notice that the last line makes mention of not being able to delete a file. Could this file be causing an issue?

From the server log, it seems although there is an issue with the map, and it may be corrupt.
