Hello, this is my first time posting, but I have a massive problem
I was grounded last week, and my dad blocked my internet from my PC. When it was over, I came on again, and on MagicLauncher, the 5 redstone lamps at the bottom, the Login and the Account Servers were "offline", and I can't connect to Minecraft.net. Then I went on the Mojang website, and found out all the servers were online. I don't know what's going on, but I would love to get it fixed ASAP
Launcher 1.0.10 (through bootstrap 5) started on windows...
Current time is Aug 10, 2013 8:26:15 PM

You may have a problem with your hosts file, which overrides DNS queries. Please follow the following directions:
Hold down the Windows key, and press R. In the window that appears, enter "%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc", and press Enter. In the window that appears you will see a file, "hosts". Open that file in Notepad, and copy the contents onto Pastebin, and give us the resulting URL.
I used to be using Avast! free, but I uninstalled it to see if that was an issue. But it wasn't.
Avast should be fine.
This is peculiar. I can't think of anything else that could have caused the SSL error, which is why you couldn't connect to the servers. Have you tried reinstalling Java?

Retired StaffHm, please grab the updated launcher here. We are on version 1.2.1 now.
http://minecraft.net/download
Then show us the output from the log again from the updated launcher. Please also specify what antivirus software is installed.
Thanks
Should I be getting a reply?
Thanks.

Retired StaffThat doesn't seem to be the issue. You did not answer my question earlier, what antivirus software are you using?
