So after my old computer went down my mine craft could not be retrieved but that has since changed and the files moved to my new laptop. It is minecraft beta 1.3_01 and I have been trying to update it for a while now but I just can't figure it out. I also got the newer version from here but it can't seem to figure out I have the older version and thus wont let me play anything but the demo. It is sad as I would like to play around with the newer options, I cant even feed the animals :'(
So if anyone knows what I can do that would be most helpful
P.S. my demo game in the newer version can be played in my older version but not the other way around.
