I built a pool underground for fun. The dimensions are 14 blocks long x 10 blocks wide x 3 blocks deep. There is plenty of glowstone in it. My main problem is that every time I join this world there are 5-7 squids swimming around in the pool. Without downloading mods destroying the pool or uninstalling the world how can I prevent this from happening? Be as specific as possible please. Thanks in advance.

Unless I'm wrong, there isn't any way to prevent squids from spawning since they were changed to only require a block of water to spawn.

Oh I thought that there was some way to keep them out of my pool. Bleh.

Throw in some butter into the pool.
