I recently attempted to update my video card driver, and when I finished, 3-D objects, such as blocks, in my inventory have turned this weird red color with some of the sides missing. This only happens if I've picked up said block. Now, I know that the new driver is the problem, but I'm asking where I could get a new, better driver.
I have an ATi FireGL V3100 video card.

Sorry I didn't understand the OT. So are you asking how to update to the newest driver, or want to use an older one because the newest one is broken? If you want the newest one, go to device manager, right click your video card under display adapters, and press update driver. Do the search online automatically option.

That never is the best option for how to update your drivers. You should always go to your device manufacturer's site and fetch it there.

I agree. I still wasn't sure if he was using the latest driver or not, and I figured the outdated device manager way would provide him with a stable version (although outdated). Also, he says he attempted to update the driver, which means he had some trouble one way or another. I thought this was a super easy way to do it, with no room for failure.
