I have recently purchased a HP split x2 and tried to install vanilla Minecraft onto it. I have tried the new mc launcher, the old mc launcher and the technic launcher (with vanilla mc) all of them have failed to work. Everything seems normal until i press either the single player or multiplayer button on the client and then when i press any of the other buttons on the single player or multiplayer screens they do nothing! i have even tried downloading a world save and then loading it in the client although the same effect occoured i couldent activate the world. Let me know if you need a copy of the console.
MY JAVA AND MINECRAFT ARE UP TO DATE AND HAVE BEEN RE INSTALLED SEVERAL TIMES!
Hey man! I have that problem to. At the main screen when you first start it up, go into options and check touch screen mode. But it also still works with the keyboard Dock. Hope this helps man!
Well I see what you mean now. I can't select worlds. Hope someone else smarter than me can figure it out xD Sorry I thought it would work.
Found the Solution run program compatibility and set it to run recommended settings which should be windows xp and it runs fine from there, save settings and your good

I'm having the same issue. My son's X2 he can't select previous worlds or use the side slide bar in the options control menu. I installed the latest Minecraft and Java running on Windows 8 with touch screen. Is there a fix? Step by step would be greatly appreciated.
We have had the same issue. Have tried the compatibility settings (All of them), reinstall, JAVA versions etc. I have not been able to find the fix so far on my own. Has anyone successfully been able to fix this on HP SPLIT X2?
