I need to change the gamemode on a custom map I downloaded but It won't let me. I want to change from creative to survival. I've tried the commands and it says "You do not have permission to use this command."
I am on singleplayer. I use the creative to build my house and this really Rustled my jimmies.
I don't want my hard work to be wasted.
You have cheats disabled, which is why the game is not letting you do so.
To temporarily remedy this, press escape then Open to LAN, and make sure cheats is allowed then start the LAN world. You should now be able to change gamemodes.
