game crash when i join server

every time i enter my server it loads up fine and then the game freezes...
i'm getting this message:
Game ended with bad state (exit code -1073741819)

any ideas on how to fix this? others are able to join the server fine so it just seems like its on my end.

We need to see what is in your Development Console, which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.

Please grab Java 7 update 25, 64-bit here,
http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Please remove all old versions of Java before installing new ones.
